French Riviera (South Eastern France) has lived a sudden natural disaster by violent storms which causes major floods. 20 people died and dozens are missing litters. Relief and aid were organised around the rescue and support victims, following the cuts of electricity, damage homes and vehicles.

The French President Hollande, presented his condolences to families affected by the flood disaster of this we He visited the site with Bernard Cazeneuve Minister of the Interior. "The severe weather that hit last night on the South East of the country have killed 12 people in the Alpes-Maritimes department, in Biot, Cannes, Golfe Juan and Mandelieu-La Napoule. Significant damage was caused by flooding.
The President of the Republic expresses the solidarity of the nation in the wake of these tragic events. He thanked the elected officials and relief actors who are fully mobilised in recent hours.

In one night more than 1200 calls for firefighters, more than 200 interventions and over 30,000 electricity cut homes. My thoughts are with the families of the victims and their relatives.
