The 2th Annual US-Africa Cultural Expo and Business Matchmaking will be convened from 19 November ““ 21 November, 2015 at a time where Africa's growth is attracting global interest, notably from an industrialization perspective. The conference is a high level platform to engage with business leaders.
Felora Derakhshani will be one of the cultural panelist for this year conference.
Felora Derakhshani is the founder and CEO of Crimson Woman, a global platform for 360 transformative developments for women entrepreneurs and leaders as well as a partner and managing director of Middle East operation at Tech Ranch, an incubator and entrepreneurial development company in Austin, Texas. She is also an author, entrepreneur, motivational speaker and consultant for cultivating leadership and maximizing human potential.
She worked in various nuclear and instrumentation industries as an electro-mechanical engineer and engineering manager. She left the private sector to dedicate her services to community development in the non-profit sector that included her work in women empowerment, leadership, conflict resolution, interfaith, and more.
Her passions for transformative action in women led her to establish and manage a non- profit platform called ACT Women for 19 years. In the past few years, she founded Crimson Woman Institute. Thousands of women, around the world, have attained their goals through her leadership and empowerment seminars, workshops and speeches.
She is also the founding board member of a global non-profit organization, Peace Through Commerce, for which she wrote the curriculum and led events and workshops globally striving for sustainable peace through entrepreneurial leadership and empowerment.
She has served as the chair of many non- profit organizations including Peace Through Commerce, United Nations Association, ACT Women and iACT (Interfaith Action Central Texas).
