Regarding the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, it is usually held a week before the Primetime event, presents Emmys in dozens of technical, creative and craft categories.

Television Academy and Creative Arts Emmy Awards executive producer Bob Bain announced the final group of presenters for the 2015 Creative Arts Emmys. They include the stars from television's top comedies and dramas :
Pamela Adlon (Louie), Sasha Alexander (Rizzoli & Isles), Shiri Appleby (UnReal), Scott Aukerman (Comedy Bang Bang), Reg E. Cathey (House of Cards), Billy Eichner (Billy on the Street), Heidi Klum (Project Runway), Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory), Aasif Mandvi (The Brink), Katharine McPhee (Scorpion), Kristen Schaal (The Last Man on Earth), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Mae Whitman (Parenthood), and Constance Zimmer (UnReal).

The 2015 Creative Arts Emmys will take place at the Microsoft Theater on Saturday, September 12. FXX will broadcast a two and a half-hour version of the awards show on Saturday, September 19 at 8pm ET/PT, encoring at 10:30 pm ET/PT.
The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Andy Samberg, airs live Sunday, September 20 (8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT) on FOX and will originate from the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles. Don Mischer will serve as executive producer for the telecast.

The Emmy award is a symbol of peer recognition. The Academy has over 20,000 members, divided into 29 peer groups of specialized fields. The members of each peer group vote on the nominees and winners for categories pertaining to their area of specialty.
