Aandhra Pradesh Government to enter into an MoU with the AIIMS

Medical and Health Minister Vidadala Rajini said that Mangalagiri AIIMS will be brought under Arogyashri and better medical services will be provided free of charge to the poor. She said that infrastructure was created in AIIMS during the YSRCP government. During her visit on Monday, the minister Vidadala Rajini visited all the departments of Mangalagiri AIIMS and talked to the patients and inquired about the medical services. Later, Minister Vidada Rajini spoke to the media.

According to the Bifurcation Act, AIIMS came as a right to AP. We have created complete basic infrastructure in AIIMS during Jagananna government. We have provided complete facilities like electricity, roads, drains etc. with Rs.55 crores. We asked the hospital management what else was required and made a note. AP Government is going to enter into an MoU with AIIMS regarding AMR (Anti-Microbial Resistance). If AIIMS is brought under the purview of Arogyashri, more percentage of services can be provided to the people of the state. Management and Director responded positively to bring AIIMS under Arogyashri. In the coming period, we will bring AIIMS under Arogyashri and provide good medical care free of cost, the minister Rajini said.
